Vensys and getproject conclude purchase and maintenance contracts for the delivery of 110 MW wind turbines

In September 2020, Vensys signed a contract with the Kiel-based project developer getproject GmbH & Co. KG for the delivery of wind turbines of the 3.x and 4.x MW platform with a total capacity of about 110 MW. This continues the cooperation already tested in four individual projects: Over the next three years, numerous projects are to be realized in Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Lower Saxony and Schleswig-Holstein. The wind farms will be commissioned in several stages until the end of 2023.

With the exception of some citizens' projects, these turbines will be incorporated into the own stock of the 100% subsidiary of getproject, get:power GmbH & Co. KG.

getproject has been planning and implementing renewable energy generation plants since 1998, many of them with citizen participation. To date, the company has realized wind energy projects throughout Germany with a total capacity of more than 170 megawatts, including 50 wind turbines in Lower Saxony with over 200 citizens as owners.

Vensys and getproject look forward to a trustful and promising cooperation.
