3 MW turbines are conquering the French market

The commissioning in February 2017 of three 3 MW turbines in Soissons Leury in Northern France laid the groundwork for two pioneering developments: the turbines erected there were the first 3 MW platforms from series manufacturing in our main factory in Neunkirchen and also the first VENSYS turbines in the neighboring country of France.

The three 3 MW turbines featuring a hub height of 98.3 meters and a rotor diameter of 120 meters are ideally suited for areas with poor wind conditions. All the advantages that come with VENSYS technology can also be found in this platform, which is currently the VENSYS bestseller.
