Today, VENSYS wind turbines are not only built in Germany, but all over the world by our licensees. VENSYS turbines are now successfully connected to the grid in a dozen different countries, particularly in the important growth markets.

Goldwind is one of the top five manufacturers on the global market and is the market leader in China. The VENSYS 1.5 MW platform is the most popular gearless wind turbine in Asia (the number one market for global growth).



EOZEN is our licensee on the Iberian peninsula. The company manufactures VENSYS wind turbines in a 21,000 m² plant in Granada, Spain. The EOZEN reference wind parks also include a 12 MW wind farm in Portugal, with eight VENSYS 1.5 MW/77 turbines.

ReGen Powertech has connected approximately 100 VENSYS wind turbines to the grid in India, and is one of the largest manufacturers of gearless turbines in the country. It has a full order list, including one order for 99 turbines (1.5 MW/77) for two wind parks in Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra.



IMPSA Wind is one of the market leaders in Brazil. IMPSA is responsible for building the largest wind park in South America in 2012 with a 180 MW power output – with VENSYS wind turbines, of course (1.5 MW/82).



The Egyptian state-owned company AOI (Arab Organization for Industrialization) is our latest licensee (2010) and will give us access to Africa's most important market.

The subsidiary VENSYS Elektrotechnik GmbH, based in Diepholz, produces the VENSYS full power converter systems as well as switchgears, controls and pitch systems. The full power converter systems are adapted to the national and regional grid connection regulations / grid codes. They are characterised by a high energy conversion efficiency and their support of the grid in the event of voltage drops (low-voltage ride-through - LVRT).

The VENSYS pitch systems ensure the safe and reliable control of the rotor blades on VENSYS wind turbines. The use of AC motors eliminates the need for high-maintenance DC technology.

VENSYS Elektrotechnik manufactures in accordance with the quality standard ISO 9001 and has so far equipped more than 3,500 wind turbines around the world with pitch systems. VENSYS Elektrotechnik GmbH is a global supplier for all VENSYS wind turbines and VENSYS licensees.
